Two thousand years ago, a small group of people gathered in a room in Syria. They weren't powerful. They had no platform, no infrastructure, no political influence. They were simply worshipping together — and in the middle of that worship, everything changed.
What happened next is one of the most extraordinary stories ever told. The message they carried travelled from that room across the Mediterranean world — through storms and riots, prison cells and palace courts, shipwrecks and synagogues — until it reached Rome, the centre of the known world. Not because they had a perfect strategy. Because they had a Spirit who was already moving, and they were willing to follow.
This is the story of Acts 13–28. And this is what we're reading together — all of us, for 61 days, from August 2 to September 27.
Join the Journey
You don't need to be a churchgoer to read along. You don't need a theology degree or a perfect track record. You just need to show up — to the text, to the questions, to the community reading with you.
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for a daily devotion posted every morning at 7am. Each day's reflection draws from that week's passage, gives you something to sit with through the day, and connects you to what the rest of the community is reading. Drop a comment. Share what's landing for you. Tag someone who needs to hear it.
Every Monday we post a short recap video. Every Friday someone from our community shares what God has been doing in a 60-second testimony. Every week a new challenge goes out — one simple, specific thing to put the reading into practice.
The early church spread not through institutions but through ordinary people having real conversations.
It still does.
