What if the most significant missionary movement in human history began not in a strategy meeting — but in a room full of people simply worshipping together?

In Week 1 of UNHINDERED: The Gospel on the Move, we open Acts 13 and meet five people in Antioch whose names Luke records deliberately — five worlds, five histories, one room, one posture of worship and fasting. And in the middle of that worship, the Holy Spirit speaks.

What follows takes the gospel from Syrian Antioch to Cyprus, through the mountains of Galatia, into synagogues and city squares — through expulsion, opposition, and a congregation left behind that is somehow, impossibly, filled with joy.

What do you have to do to belong to God?

Most of us carry an answer to that question that's more complicated than we'd like to admit. We know the right theological answer — grace, faith, Jesus — but the functional answer, the one that actually drives how we think about ourselves and other people in relation to God, tends to have a few more items on the list.

In Week 2 of UNHINDERED: The Gospel on the Move, we follow Paul and Barnabas through Iconium, Lystra, and Derbe — through stonings and near-worship and the long road back through every city that tried to stop them — before arriving at the most important debate the early church ever had.

Visitors from Judea arrive in Antioch with a message that threatens to unravel everything the mission has accomplished: "Unless you are circumcised as required by the law of Moses, you cannot be saved."

What follows is the Jerusalem Council — the early church's most significant theological moment. Peter stands and gives not an argument but a testimony. James opens the prophets and shows the room that the Gentiles turning to God was always where Israel's story was heading. And the verdict lands in Antioch like a breath of fresh air:

"We should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God."

This message asks the question underneath all of it: where have you quietly added a condition to a gift that was always free?
